Wayne Schmitt began Schmitt Insurance & Associates in 2010 after obtaining his health and life insurance licenses. Wayne specializes in Medicare Supplement, Part D, Medicare Advantage Plans and Under 65 health. He loves meeting new clients and making Medicare easy. When he started his business, it was and continues to be his top priority to offer people as many insurance solutions as possible. Wayne is constantly learning and adding plans options to our portfolio to better serve clients. Over the years Wayne has received many awards in the Medicare market including top sales agent for the past 8 years by one of the largest general agencies in Iowa.

Wayne has been married for 29 years to his wife Denise with whom they share 5 children. Regan, Riley, Raquel, Rolin & Ryann. They love being grandparents to Noelle & Jack. Wayne enjoys deer hunting, fishing, boating on the Mississippi and camping in Prairie Du Chien, Wisconsin. When Wayne isn’t working or camping, you’ll find him helping his kids with a house project or two! 

Regan Lensing is the daughter of Wayne & Denise Schmitt. Since her sophomore year of college at University of Northern Iowa, Regan knew that she would come home and help her dad with his business. Regan got her insurance licenses at 19 and after graduation in 2016 moved back home and officially began her career as an agent with Schmitt Insurance. Like her dad, Regan also specializes in Medicare and Under 65 health.  

Regan and her husband Garrett live in Spillville and Garrett dairy farms with his family in nearby Calmar. They have one daughter, Noelle (2years) and son, Jack (10 months). Regan and Garrett love to travel and spend time with their families.
